About Us: 

Steven Lenhoff & Courtney Zito

Steven has been cooking for 20+ years. After graduating from the Culinary Institute in 2005 he stayed in the Hudson Valley to work at various different restaurants. Next, he traveled the country for four years with Dega Catering as a private chef for musicians and artists. When finished touring, he continued as a private chef on a yacht in Sarasota, Florida. 

​Courtney spent a lot of time in kitchens growing up. With a father as a chef and multiple family members and friends working in kitchens, she created a passion for the industry. She was accepted into the pastry apprenticeship program at Westmoreland Community College for Nemacolin Woodlands following high school. After graduating she went on to work at Google in Pittsburgh as their pastry chef.

​In 2012 the two met and started working together. Moving to Alaska to work at a remote fishing lodge in the bush, creating a fine dining experience that isn’t found in those parts. After wrapping up two fishing seasons in Alaska, they moved to Napa, California. Working in various top tier restaurants in wine country for three years before making the decision to move back to the east coast. Moving to the Lehigh Valley and remodeling an old farmhouse while creating a name for themselves in the area. Five years later and they have 2 dogs, 15 chickens and a small farm with a produce stand each summer. They’re ready and excited to create menus that will keep the community of Big Bass Lake coming back again and again!
