BOATING

PENNSYLVANIA STATE LAW:
Electric motor boats must be registered with their State of Origin. All watercraft must be equipped with at least one US Coast Guard wearable floatation device per occupant, which must be worn by all children under the age of 12. Seat cushions are not legal floatation devices. Do not overcrowd any boat.
Boats over 15 feet in length are required to have one throwable floatation device.
All boaters are required to have a signaling device on their boat.

FISHING

All fisherpersons 16 years of age and older must possess a valid Pennsylvania Fishing License.
Information for obtaining licenses is available at the BBLCA office.

VIOLATORS OF THE ABOVE REGULATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO FINES BY THE PENNSYLVANIA FISH AND GAME COMMISSION, WHO HAVE JURISDICTION OVER ALL BODIES OF WATER IN PENNSYLVANIA.

BBLCA RULES
Gas powered boats are not permitted on Big Bass Community Lakes. All boats must carry a current BBLCA decal which can be obtained at the BBLCA Office at no charge.
Do not jump or dive from any boat. Hidden rocks or stumps can cause serious injury. Bring your boat into shore at the first sign of a storm. Sailing or boating during thunderstorms is extremely dangerous.
Boat spaces must be reserved in advance (see office).
Diving and/or swimming in the marina are strictly prohibited.
Boating is not permitted at, or within 20 feet of roped in swimming areas.
